Mission: Episode 2 - The Sins of History
Location: Deck 4
Timeline: MD013 1400 hrs

Siadra had put in for a time slot to utilize one of the holodecks. That wouldn't be for another 45 minutes. Her plan was to do her exercises hiking through one of the canyons of her homeworld, of Trill and the forests as well. To warm up before her appointed time, Siadra decided to go jogging through the corridor of the Artemis, deck four.

She was dressed in black jogging leggings which had pockets, a crop top jogging tank which hit just above the naval purple in color. The color of the tank making her hazel eyes seem more green. Her medium brown hair was swept back from her face in a loose pony-tail. She had done some stretches in her quarters to warm up. Now it was time to do some running. Her running shoes, which were black with a splash of purple trim, didn't make much noise as she began her slow run.

She placed earpieces in her ears, the music playing on the little music padd, was an old Earth classic, 'Eye of the Tiger' stepped out of her quarters. This was during a later shift where not as many people would be walking the corridor.

Dex often wondered if doing what he did was worth it. Working his way onto ships just to satisfy his urge and love of killing. What the world saw was a charismatic and charming man, up for anything and always there for you. What they didn't see was this was his way of getting people to lower their guard with him, trust him until he got bored of them.

Chief of the Boat on a specialised Starfleet vessel was something different, a harder challenge, but his forged Starfleet record got him on board and now he was working to maintain that cover. Stepping from his office and locking the door behind him he turned his large frame to the left and felt a sudden impact hit his mid section and fall with a thud to the ground.

Looking down he saw a small Trill woman of slight build looking somewhat bewildered. Reaching out a large paw of a hand, "Woah there! Where's the fire?" he asked with a chuckle.

Siadra felt a little bit breathless, after all the wind was knocked out of her. One of her earpieces fell out, faint music could be heard still playing. Here eyes first focused on the hand that reached out to help her up, then traveled all the way to the man's face. "Woah." she breathed out, accepting the hand up. "Uh no fire, just doing some warmups, before I get my turn in the holodeck. Uh.. sorry I ran into you, er that is uh sorry to have bumped into you, rather crashed into you." her cheeks going pink.

"There's warm ups and then there's workouts." Dex chuckled as he raised her to her feet in front of him. "But don't worry about it. Takes a lot to knock old Dex down. Not that I mind woman trying, can do some of my best work lying down." he flashed a grin. "Where are my manners?" he asked rhetorically "Least I can do is say who you've tried to assault in my own hallway... Dex Revaro." he did a small bow in greeting.

Another blush bloomed in her cheeks, Siadra catching the meaning of his words. "And I am Siadra Molaur, I am the Chief Science Officer. And I was about to go do some hiking in my holodeck program. I have to maintain my girlish figure somehow." giving a laugh.

"Oh I know who you are ma'am." Dex said gruffly and with an infectious wink. "I know everyone on board from the top man to the lowest bulkhead scrubber. Most choose to not get in my way but I see you like to run towards danger." he smirked.

"Well now-" Siadra giving Dex another look over clocking in his measurements, width of his shoulders and chest. She can blame it on being a seamstress in another life time and here. "I can say you can be dangerous, rather dangerous. What with your physique and the way you move. I didn't even hear you but then again, I was listening to music." she chuckled.

"So maybe I'm not as dangerous as you think, the fact you didn't hear me wasn't because of how I move but more so because you were distracted by your earpieces." Dex countered but he had caught how he looked at her. It didn't faze him, or affect him really, he wasn't there to make friends but after looking her once over he thought to himself how she would look as life drained from her eyes.

He shook away that thought and picked up one of the fallen earpieces. "What is this you are listening to?" he took a short listen before handing it back to her. It wasn't his taste.

"Well that music, from Earth's past it helps me get more into the spirit of running and exercise. The title of it is Eye of the Tiger. It's got a beat to create the rhythm though I think the music might be just a little bit slow. Do you have music that you like to listen to?" Siadra turning off the music and placing it into her pants pocket.

Dex arched an eyebrow. "I can see how the beat would possibly push you on." he replied with a small acceptance. Sometimes music helped encourage people to push through certain physical activities. "I listen to some music, although I don't have any particular forms I prefer." he stroked his beard.

"if you have some that you like I'm open to hearing them." A beep sounded on her padd. "oh look at that its my turn for the holodeck." she paused for a moment. "Would you like to go for a run with me or are you headed off to go do something else?"

"Oh I don't run, only chase." Dex teased a little. He liked to walk the line of showing his dark side but keeping it light enough so that people just thought he was eccentric. "You go ahead, lieutenant. I have other matters I need to attend too." a twinkle in his eye sparkled devilishly as the thought of strangling her entered his mind briefly before returning to reality. "Good day, ma'am."

"Good day as well, and thank you." Siadra remarked smiling brightly as she turned to head for the holodeck. 'He's quite the looker' Keema commented. 'Yes yes I know he is. Good heavens Keema don't get any ideas, Lets just go enjoy our time at home on the holodeck.' the back of the chief of science officer jogging down the hall her ponytail swinging side to side then she disappeared out of sight.
